YELLING, VIJAY DIVAS (16/12/1971)

India with a virtuous past and decent armed unit is supposed to be a nation which pioneers their army personnel's, we are told from very early stage of life's that we have to respect National emblems, National flag, armed forces their personnel are respectful.
we celebrate National festivals with proud, honour and uniqueness this date too 16 dec, 1971 is being celebrated as vijay divas with that popular photo in hand of Pakistan's surrender in Eastern pakistan now bangladesh.
3rd Dec the war begun but Indian armed forces(navy and Air Force) destroyed pak's units and entered dhaka within 14 day's on concluding day india had more then 93000 prisoners from east pakistan but following shimla agreement they were safely released and sent back to pakistan harmlessly.
war means diffrent to diffrent people's for buisnessman it's connected with war armaments, for politicians a new agenda which will ultimately raise their vote bank, war means something else for soldiers & officers who are used as cannon fodder. A few of those who killed in some dramatic battel might recieve a measure of recognition by way of posthumous awards and rewards but most of them remain anonymous mere a statistics for Chronicle writers. The worst fate is for those who are captured by enemy especially if they happen to be soldiers and citizens of a state that places shamefully low value to their own citizens life.

Yes, here I'm inking down the biggest truth which has always been ignored as on this date we collected 93000 prisoners from east pakistan, they too collected 200 army personnel's from west pakistan and when it came to the liability of SHIMLA AGREEMENT pakistan traited again..!!
Instead of returning each armed personnel back they played game they kept those personnel holding higher ranks and returned the left. Though the officers family went to welcome the train bearing repatriated indian defence personnel from pakistan, those 54 families didn't had any reunion with their loved ones, and they were proved to be lost or dead by pakistan.
There is no record available to us providing that the govt. of India did in fact constitute such a comission, either to trace missing indian personnel in pak or to assure pak in a transparent manner that there were no pak prisoners in India. (as they too blamed us that we have kept their prisoners)
After getting this dwindling consent from the govt. of India the relatives of these personnel constituted an association "Missing defence personnel relatives association" and they collected several evidence's to prove there relatives being in pak jails, but indian government seems to ignore every fresh piece of evidence pertaining to the soldiers still rotting in pak jails. not only family members of soldiers but also other army personnel maintain that prisoners continue to languish needlessly in pak jails.
In a report filed last year in court mohan lal bhaskar- who returned to the country following exchange of prisoners started that "during my stay in pak jails,I came to know that at kot lakhpat jail, lahore, Indian POW's were rotting in various jails".
col. asif shafi of second punjab regiment of pak who was also in jail confirmed that more than 45 indian army mens were confined to the fort of atak and there were no chance of their release.
The pak govt. was not respecting the human rights of prisoners in jails.
In 1981 as a good will gesture pakistan allowed the relatives of those missing personnel to come & check themselves, In 1983 a delegation of 6 relatives went, unfortunately they all come back feeling cheated they told that they were allowed to visit one single jail wich doesn't even have a single defence personnel.
some of these delegates returned more horrified as they saw some around 40-45 mens were prisoned in a small cells herded together with chains those were the indians living in pak allegally caught for petty crimes like smuggling and all..
I'm writing all of this stuff today because india & its govt. have been successful in branding themselves as a nation where country comes first, army is the most praised and respectable unit of the nation. when you brand like this you must prove it too.
we youngsters too like and share these images coming "Vijay diwas quotes" but what about the real story what about those 54 personnel who are still rotting in pakistani jails.
how could this victory be celebrated if the very first motto of army "never left behind" is not fulfilled.
Rest in peace..!!
