It's Rajiv Gandhi's birth anniversary, the man who let Congress to face the current fettle , needs to be remembered..
Rajiv Gandhi always wanted to stay away from his family business "politics", but fitful death of the one and only Sanjay Gandhi paved his way to the politics.. making him the general Secretary of Congress and then Indira Gandhi's assassination usher the election of sympathy and solace, after which Congress was unsurpassable..!!
Rajiv took oath as the youngest prime minister of this nation which has already seen much of this scandalized family, with no knowledge of politics he won trust of his party members to become the prime minister well it was believed that he was inbred with politics.
A man who was clear of his vision from day one..he talked of 21st century, IT and telecommunication revolution when no one was aware of it.. his vision's and ideas were very clear but not the execution, his execution's were clear in science and technology but it was difficult for him to understand the Indian political Regine the way his mother and brother used to do..!! and that's the reason why Rajiv era is much remembered for something else..

It was all so so dramatic and unforseen a string of scams and scandal's are there which can clearly help you to knit-knot the whole picture..
It begun with the fearless attitude of the then finance minister of Rajiv Gandhi's cabinet, who took oath to eradicate corruption from whole tax regime, and this lead to his dismissal.. after a complain was made by our Superstar Amitabh bacchan, saving his brother from the charges of tax theft. V.P Singh was allotted with the defense ministry, he doesn't did anything this time, it was the time for swedish media to play on .. and a circular was passed assuring that in the deal of "boforce guns" a large amount was paid as brokage.. this left everyone stunned and then V.P Singh finally resigned from his post and made janta party which later came to be the national front and he being the biggest leader of that coalition became prime minister of later, the silence of Rajiv Gandhi over Delhi Sikh riot's left everyone blood teared.. he was condemned alot by Muslims for shah bano's case and then the step of vishwa Hindu parishad against babri masjid bought new politics to this nation " Hindu- Muslim", politics was on.. and it's benefit goes to the opposition parties, as a broken mandate was presented by the public in next elections and something like this Congress faded away but then the sucide blast which was responsible for rajiv Gandhi's assassination left the Gandhi family and this nation in a mournful state.. again politics of sympathy was on and this time the solace and condolence was with Sonia Gandhi, daughter-in-law of the iron lady Indira gandhi.. Congress was again " building Castle in sky", which let Congress to emerge as the biggest party..!!
Something like this ended the Rajiv gandhi's era..!!
