The ultimate tussle

The T20I series between India and England is all about the debutants and the confidence they bring on to their performances, Ishan Kishan performed the same day he was handed cap but for Surayakumar Yadav it was again a bit late like everything in his life, but when he got to play he made sure it just about him and his good shots no matter whose the bowler, which side it is, and he played likewise only.

Though soft signal tried turning into black clouds over Surya's shine but unfortunately it failed, as Pant and Shreyas got in along with Hardik and India attained a decent defending total, backed by Shardul- Bhuvi- Hardik Trio who made it impossible, for the guests to think about taking away the trophy so easily.

Surya Kumar Yadav and his performance in yesterday's match have left spectators in an Ultimate joy, though he has seen performing this way in IPL's for Mumbai but performing for the country is altogether a different thing, and that was clearly visible in his performance, the sweep shot master over deep square leg was yesterday doing wonders with his paddle sweeps, may it be Jofra, Wood or Rashid the results were same for everyone, his first ball six will remain in fan's hearts for so long.

He has for so long played for Mumbai from where he got selected for the IPL in 2012 but didn't got to perform, his fortune changed in 2015 when he was playing for KKR where he played a winning knock, from there he got instant fame and we got to see him playing fearlessly into the IPL's. His father used to check the playing 11 list everytime it got announced just to find his son's name into it, yesterday he would have been the happiest for his son being the star performer, his attitude towards the game was impressive, the way he was hitting the balls seems like he got in after setting from the pavilion, he also got two catches into his bag.

Well, the Skipper gave it to the spinner yesterday, but his boys didn't let him down. India got a good start with Rohit and Rahul, Rohit was also in  a good touch to which Jofra Archer put a full stop by action replying the same slower one, from the last match for a cought and bowl. After Virat Surya was joined by Rishabh Pant and he too is master of his cover drives beating the mid off whereas shreas, a number 3 performer is also changing his way to fit the spot team management wants him to, shardul thakur showed some batting skills and the much needful one.

In the next innings defending 185 and excessive dew on the ground the Indian side came on field, it would surely have been a double minded game keeping dew in mind, but the new duo of Bhuvi and Hardik from the other end made it difficult for the destructive batsman Butler and Roy and for the first time India got an early Breakthrough, as butler with Jason Roy and David Malan England move forward, Jason Roy was going for his ultimate Hits and was joined by Malan at times to which the new replacement Chahar put an end with his googly, Malan who has seen struggling against the spiners is very well known to all and this weakness of his is smartly used, after him Ben Stokes joined the crew and he was destructive, his Hits made sure English going par the total  very easily.

But then the man with his golden arm came in, the allrounder Hardik with his accurate bouncers, slow cutters he was an absolute beauty to watch, and took away the english hopes with Jason Roy early 50 dismissal, to which the pace variator Shardul Joined and took two important wicket's consecutively, Stokes and Morgan. Bhuvneshwar also joined the group of wicket taker bowlers then just being the economical one. The number one T20 team got into pressure for the very first time while chasing here at Motera.

The neck to neck tussle which everyone was waiting for was finally there with Jofra Archer's big hits to shardul and his low experience, the match seem to be in India's side for a while and English side for the other. But somehow the bowlers made it possible for the team to win the crucial game irrespective of Loosing the toss.

Another important thing this match brought into consideration was the Soft signal, when the field umpire is not sure about the catches he asks the third umpire for his decision, rather then relying totally on to the technologies he aks for the soft signal means what the field umpire thinks, how would the umpire know if catch was taken properly or not if it's outside the thirty yard circle, twice this happened first for Surayakumar Yadav where it was clearly visible that David Malans hands were not there below the ball and second when Rashid touched the boundary while taking the catch. But both of them were given out for the inconclusive evidences and going with the field umpire's soft signal.

It's hurtful for the players to abide by something which is wrong, technically these rules need to be changed.

If Surayakumar would have been there for some time more the result would have been different, well it was a match everyone wanted and the home side is still in the league for the trophy is something relaxing, the most awaited final will held here at Motera on 20th till then let's hope for the best.

And hope for a balanced team selection by Indian side, this 5 bowler side seems weaker if anyone of them is getting hit, the Skipper don't have any options left with him. If Shardul too can bat they can surely go for another bowler by resting any of their batsman, this is a side with imbalances, let's hope it changes or else it will be even more difficult in the world cup.
