हम हमेशा अल्पसंख्यकों के हितों और उनकी परेशानियों पर विचार करते हैं, हमारी धर्मनिरपेक्षता हमे हर बार ये करने पर मजबुर करती है, और शायद इसलिए ही भारत भारत है,  पर ऐसी धर्मनिरपेक्षता भी भला किस काम की जहां, बहुसंख्यक ही अपना अस्तित्व टटोलते हों, राष्ट्रीय स्वयं सेवक संघ की स्थापना ही इस उद्देश्य से हुई थी, की देश में विदेशी ताकतों का दबदबा इसलिए है क्युकी इस देश के हिन्दू एकजुट नहीं है.. सावरकर और हेडगेवार की मुलाकात के बाद संघ की स्थापना इस बात की पुष्टि करती है, के इसका उद्देश्य हिन्दू एकजूटता ही था, और शायद आज भी है। संघ के साथ जो बात हमेशा से जुड़ी रही वो है विवाद, जब समाज के एक तबके या विचारधारा और उससे जुड़े लोगों की तकलीफों के बारे में इतना खुलकर विरोध या समर्थन किया जाए तो ये वाजिब भी है, खासतौर पर भारत जैसे देश में, पर जब यही काम अल्पसंखयक करें तो वो उनका अधिकार हो जाता है..!!  संघ को अपने इस रवैए के कारण समय समय पर प्रतिबंधों का सामना करना पड़ा है, फिर वो चाहे गांधी जी की हत्या हो, या विभाजन के हिन्दू मुस्लिम दंगे, इमरजेंसी और फिर बाबरी मस्जिद ढांचा, सावरकर...
